Jakarta, GEO ENERGI - Young in age doesn’t stop Anatasha Eka Kurnia from leading a heavy duties business. For Antasha Eka Kurnia, heavy duties business in her blood. Born in Jakarta in 4 September 1989, Anatasha has known the business since she was very young as her parents run the business. “My parents started this company,” says Anatasha to Geo Energi in her Jakarta office.
Yet when she took the company’s leadership in 2011, she found it not easy as she needed to adjust it with her educational background in communications. Instead of giving up, she took the challenge to learn heavy duty business.
“This is a challenge for me because I have to meet strong men on the field and discuss with them. Indeed, it is worth learning,” says a lady who obtained her degree from Sydney Technology University.
In the beginning, Anatasha wasn’t convinced that she could lead the business. She found people who can support her. Her work eventually pays off.
Amid her tight schedule, Anatasha still does her traveling hobby twice a year. “I can only travel for maximum2 weeks now. I still can do my hobby because I have a wonderful and responsible team to support me in the office,” confesses Anatasha.
Most of her employees are creative and energetic young professionals. “I want to create a friendly working environment. I would like to work with teams whom she considers friends. For her, friends are everything.
“Don’t underestimate the young people because young people are open minded and creative. Happiness is real when shared. No matter how much wealth we have but if we can’t share it, it is useless,” says Anatasha.
